First off you’re so brave for doing this! What changed from the break? They haven’t matched the effort, teams got better and they didn’t adjust, mindset? They didn’t just forget how to play hockey and it’s not like this was a once or twice game issue. It’s been a serious slump. Even if they started scoring more the rest of the process seems shaky still
Did a little bit of a deep dive myself on the team shots and s%. Right now I think I saw the team is just above 10% and most of the top 6 actually has a decent shooting percentage. Do they just need to shoot more? Also, timos shooting pretty much at his career s%. I love his process but is this just what we're gonna get with him if he's not on the top power play unit?
Hey guys, huge fan of the show. I am increasingly having mixed thoughts on Luke and Jack. While I love their talent and their ability to control a game in a positive way, I get nervous when they’re on the ice together because it feels like pond hockey which at times results in dumb turnovers.
I know this is hard to speculate on, but do you think Keefe feels empowered to actually have some tough conversations with these guys or do you think he feels like he has to treat them with kid gloves? Blind speculation is welcome :)
If it does come to the “bad place” and the team misses the playoffs, who out of the core 4 do you think gets moved in the offseason? I would think Timo but should Nico and Jack be considered (highly unlikely but you never know).
The team has been solid defensively, but has the defense mindset suffocated the scoring touch? As great as Kovacevic has been do the Devils actually benefit more having a more offensive dman in that spot (Nemec or Casey) to drive more offense?
A lot of people on social media say other teams have “figured the Devils out,” and the recent scoreboards certainly seem to validate those claims. Do you feel that’s true? And if so, why haven’t teams figured out Washington, Toronto, or Winnipeg? What are those top teams doing that NJ isn’t?
Do you think there’s any correlation between what seems like Jack’s attention to being more responsible defensively and his lack of offensive production?
Much like you guys, I generally think the Devils will snap out of this and will be okay. But given it’s been nearly a month of mediocre/bad play, at what point do you think it becomes rational to start worrying about an epic collapse where they miss the playoffs? After four nations, mid March, etc. For me, I feel like I need to see some good signs before the break given the schedule isn’t that difficult.
You can only choose one player to help the issue at 8C- I mean 3C:
Chris Tierney, Tomas Nosek, John Hayden, Pavel Zacha, Janne Kuokkanen, Frederik Gauthier, Ben Street.
Thanks for your time.
Take care.
Why do you think Sheldon Keefe is so hesitant to do anything to this lineup? And obviously I don’t mean flip flopping Lazar and Dowling?

Do you think the coaches are afraid to criticize Jack's one on three attacks, or his risky plays in OT for fear of affecting his creativity?

Thoughts on trading for Rickard Rakell for the top 6.

How concerned should we be about lack of Utica forward depth? It doesn’t feel like anyone is knocking on the proverbial door to steal a spot.

would you healthy scratch Mercer for a game? wake him up, perhaps. is the ironman streak making him immune ?
What would it take to get Ryan O'Reilly and would it make sense for the Devils to do it
Who do you guys think will be the next New Jersey Devil player to be inducted into the Ring?
